Originally established in 2001 as the beloved “Colonel’s Quarters” bed and breakfast, the property quickly became one of the region’s most sought-after destinations for weddings and special events.

Today, with more than 750 celebrations hosted on-site, Castle Hill has become synonymous with timeless gatherings and beautifully curated moments.​

In 2015, Castle Hill unveiled its stunning Grand Ballroom — the largest indoor event venue in Oxford. Thoughtfully designed with sophistication in mind, the 4,000-square-foot ballroom features sparkling crystal chandeliers, built-in staging and lighting, expansive patios, and an impressive 25-foot mahogany bar, creating an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and inviting. 

For overnight accommodations, Castle Hill offers seven beautifully appointed guest suites across three charming buildings on the estate. While no longer operating as a traditional bed and breakfast, each room is designed to provide comfort, warmth, and a peaceful retreat for wedding parties and guests alike, complete with thoughtful touches to begin each morning with ease.​
