In 2003, what began as an unexpected request from a bride seeking a wedding location became the first dedicated wedding venue in Oxford, Mississippi. Since hosting that very first wedding, Castle Hill has grown into one of the region's premier event destinations, with thoughtful additions including the Ballroom, Chapel, and expanded guest amenities.

Jean, a former cardiovascular nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, oversees food production and hospitality, bringing her own recipes, creativity, and attention to detail to every event. Randy, whose background is in building materials and construction, manages the estate grounds and personally prepares the catered meats served at celebrations. Together, they also oversee the day-to-day operations of Castle Hill.

Their favorite part of owning a wedding venue is getting to know each couple and watching their vision come to life. From customized menus and décor to personalized event details, Jean and Randy believe every celebration should reflect the unique story of the people being honored.

Over the years, they have watched Castle Hill become more than their own dream—it has become the backdrop for countless weddings, celebrations, and milestones. Whether elegant and timeless or uniquely personal, they are passionate about helping every client create an unforgettable experience.

Castle Hill also holds a special place in their family's story. In 2025, their daughter, Rachael, married her husband, Heath, at Castle Hill, and they are proud grandparents to their grandson, Jensen.
